Privacy policy

Rigby ("we", "us") is the trading name of Galactic Alliance Pty Ltd (ABN 18 697 637 522), based in Western Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Register interest: your name, company, work email, phone number and anything you write in the note, and how you first reached the website: the site that sent you and any campaign tags in the link.
• Log in: the work email you type, used once to send you to your company's sign-in. We don't store it.
• Browsing: pages visited, the site you came from, browser and device type, and approximate location worked out from your IP address. We don't link this to your name or email, except how you first reached the site, which is kept with a Register interest form.

How we use it

• To get back to you about Rigby. A person reads what you send and replies.
• To understand how the website is used, and to find and fix problems with it.

We don't send newsletters or automated sales emails.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to host this website, keep our records and measure how the site is used. They handle your information only to provide their service to us. Some of them store or process it outside Australia, including in the United States. We never sell, rent or trade your information.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies

We use cookies to count visits, see how people move through the site and measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site still works without them.

Keeping it safe

Every page uses HTTPS, and only the people at Rigby who need your details can see them. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep your Register interest details until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. If you think we've mishandled your information, tell us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
